Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Alexa, and I am a Certified Mat Pilates Teacher currently working toward my Comprehensive Pilates Certification. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher with 200-hours of training.

A little about me & my journey:

I bring a unique perspective to fitness instruction after my journey recovering from three knee surgeries and my knack for research and storytelling as a journalist. My goal is to approach your fitness journey with a workout plan that tells your story – listening to what your body needs, laying the foundation and building from the ground up to help you reach your goals and feel the full benefits of your training. I aim to help my students experience joy, healing, and empowerment from exercise.

I became a photographer and videographer in college and a professional journalist at age 22, but I’ve identified as an athlete since childhood. I grew up playing basketball, and although I no longer play competitively, being an athlete is still a core part of who I am my way of life. God put it on my heart to teach Pilates and yoga – both low impact and adaptable practices for every body – because I wanted to play a positive role in the athlete experience, helping others feel the therapeutic effects of movement, regardless of age or background.
